Certified Seating and Mobility is actively seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to join our team in the Metro Atlanta area. We are a local independent complex rehab wheelchair supplier located in Atlanta, GA. Description:
- The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) role is responsible for performing proper wheelchair evaluations to ensure appropriate recommendations for equipment and developing new business and growing existing business in the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) market. Working with clinicians to recommend equipment that will best serve the client’s specific needs, deliver and fit equipment, and assure the customer’s functional goals are met. Assist with customer adjustments as needed. Calling on key physician offices, hospitals, clinics, and home health agencies to generate new referrals to evaluate. Working hand in hand with the Director of Rehab to build and grow the company. This position reports directly to the Director of Rehab.
Qualifications:
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key clinical clients through cold calling, referrals, and marketing.
- Highly self-motivated and driven.
- Works independently with minimal supervision, multitasks, and manages time efficiently.
- Communicates effectively with clients and their caregivers.
- Be able to provide overall organizational excellence via dedication, quality, and outstanding customer service.
- Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, physical/occupational therapists, nurses, office staff and others in the patient care continuum.
- Pass background screenings.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience:
- Current Assistive Technology Professional certification preferred but will consider candidates qualified and ready to take the ATP Exam.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in the complex rehab industry preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or health related degree (OT, PT, COTA, PTA, RN) is preferred.
Compensation:
- Base Salary plus aggressive commission structure with no caps

We are a local independent complex rehab wheelchair supplier located in Atlanta, GA. - The Custom Wheelchair Specialist is responsible for developing new business and growing existing business in the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) market. Calling on key physician offices, hospitals, clinics, and home health agencies to generate new referrals for the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to evaluate. Working with healthcare professionals, patients, vendors, and caregivers while developing relationships with decision makers of clinical accounts to grow sales. Working hand in hand with the Director of Rehab to build and grow the company. This position reports directly to the Director of Rehab.

- Be able to make presentations to healthcare professionals on Complex Rehab Technology.
- Be able to provide overall organizational excellence via dedication, quality, and outstanding customer service.
- Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, physical/occupational therapists, nurses, office staff and others in the patient care continuum.
- Comprehensive understanding of the managed health care industry including reimbursement for CRT through private insurance, Medicare/Medicaid programs, and medical benefits.
- Knowledge in the field of complex rehab technology, e.g. on the job training, familiarity with Rehab clients, products and services
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Pass background screenings
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Experience
- Requires 2 years of medical field sales experience, preferably in a Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Home Health, or Wound Care setting.
- 1 year of related experience in a Complex Rehab Technology preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required

Job Description:
- Supports Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP) & Custom Wheelchair Specialists
- Completes patient intake including insurance verifications, data entry into Brightree software
- Communicates with patients & their caregivers in a compassionate and kind manner
- Creates required forms for order processing
- Obtaining medical documentation from clinicians
- Follow up with clients and/or doctors’ offices on pending requests
- Assists the service department to include customer service requests, clinical documentation, scheduling repairs, ordering parts, and receiving inventory
- Reviews medical documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Promotes compliance & education with all employees to ensure procedures are met
- Reach out to customers to ensure 100% satisfaction
- Screen incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel
- Organizes and maintains filing system, fax system, order marketing material
- Provides technical assistance to customers.
- Maintains a working knowledge of current equipment, services, and insurance requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in role that has regular communication with customers
- Clean Background Screen
- Knowledge of health insurance verifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office, fax, phones, printer/copier
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Brightree software
Minimum Required Functions:
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
- Highly motivated, able to work independently, stationary 75% of the day
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
